LADY IN RED, 2010
LADY IN RED ,2010, I just love this painting. It was one of my very first paintings. The inspiration came from the Artist Gunnar Fredrik Berndtson 1854 -1895. He was a Dutch painter who had great interest in detail. His panting of “The Mirror”1889 grabbed my interest and I set about to try and paint a similar painting as Gunnar had done.
The frame is painted onto the canvas to depict a 3D image.
